  • Produce spots about state government for the Missouri Broadcast Association’s new audio wire service

August 2018 - December 2018

  • Produced afternoon newscasts every Tuesday for half of the semester and pitched day-turn and feature stories.

  • Reported on high school voters in Mid-Missouri. This piece aired on Here and Now, and it was part of a reporting collaboration with NPR member stations throughout the state. 

  • Covered President Donald Trump’s rally in Columbia. I produced a day-turn audio feature and a spot which aired on NPR. 

  • Covered Missouri’s dairy industry for one of the first collaborative stories with the local newspaper and TV station. 

REPORTING INTERN, KCUR

June 2018 - August 2018

  • Wrote 56 spots, 38 web stories and two radio features for the NPR member station in Kansas City

  • Covered the Republican Senate Primary race. This included a radio feature and election night coverage. My preview of the race was referenced in Politico’s Morning Score newsletter.

  • Conducted interviews with workers at a closing Harley-Davidson plant for a story by Jim Zarroli that aired on All Things Considered
